More than ever is it important that we use our platform to provide support and visibility to people and organizations that are working hard to make a difference and to improve life in our communities. The organizations we’ve partnered with for Black History Month provide inspiration and opportunity to young men and women in their communities.
Based in the Historically Black neighborhood of Leimert Park, Los Angeles. Sole Folks mission is to groom the next generation of black designers and entrepreneurs. They provide a creative retail space offering underserved entrepreneurs a place to showcase their collections and build their brands.
TEC Leimert is a non-profit organization that empowers young people and exposes them to technology and digital media through thoughtful programming. We focus on the intersection of technology and entertainment to drum excitement and garner participation in the digital economy.
Project Level is a groundbreaking, socially active non-profit program that nurtures the creative needs of at-risk and underserved Bay Area inner-city youth. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe, experiential learning environment where youth can freely express themselves through the arts.
